As it's just on the other side of the hill from where I grew up, I've driven by this view many times, but finally stopped to shoot some pictures. I'm pretty pleased how this shot turned out, but not liking how it lost all it's sharpness when I uploaded it. The larger version looks a lot better. It is a very beautiful landscape, Dylan! VERY nicely done!! As to the sharpness, you may want to check into the compression factor when uploading. I believe there's something about it on the Forum... or sign up and pay for the A+ Membership then there's no compression. Just a thought ;-) It's still a very beautiful image!!

I enjoyed the larger view very much. This is a marvelous location for a place to live. Excellent image.

The blue of the lake is so inviting. The white house looks like it owns the lake. Perhaps a view a little to the right ot a tighter crop could have eliminated the trace of another building at about the 10 o'clock spot and given the impression that this mansion was alone in the woods.

I like it, sharp or not. It doesn't look unfocused on my screen.
