A raku vase from a few years ago

I made a light box this past weekend with instructions from Strobist. Here is one of my first shots with it. The raku vase is one that I made a few years ago. Raku is a way of firing pottery where you heat the piece up to temperature quickly, then take it out while its hot, and cool it off quickly, often in leaves, paper, grass, or other materials giving it a very different texture.
