roman candles via potato gun

This is a shot of my girlfriend's little brother launching a roman candle out of an empty potato gun. He was having fun launching a bunch of fireworks the other night. I was shooting handheld and really like how this shot turned out...I really wasn't expecting the pvc to glow as the fireworks shot out, which was an added bonus. I took some double exposures on film which should be good. I hope they turn out. If so, you may see something from this same night.

I should be back in action for a while. I'm pretty much done with my summer job, and have finished the skiing movie that has consumed much of my free time this summer. No staring at adobe premiere tonight... it's outside to watch(and take some pictures) of the meteor showers.
